1. WR A.J. Green

As part of being all-in for 2021, the Cardinals signed Green to a one-year deal last offseason. He mostly stayed healthy, missing just one game in the regular season, and he had moments of good production on his way to 848 yards on 54 catches in 16 games. The Cardinals could not have expected any better.

Green could re-sign with Arizona on another cheap one-year deal. But the Cardinals also have Christian Kirk set to become a free agent, and it seems sure to be a one-or-the-other decision for general manager Steve Keim. Spotrac has tabbeed the 25-year old Kirk’s market value at $12.6 million per year, on a projected four-year, $50.4 million deal. After adjusting for comps, Spotrac landed on a four-year, $45.8 million deal in free agency for Kirk.

It’s fair to assume re-signing Kirk will be a top priority for Arizona this offseason, and certainly a higher priority than re-signing Green. The seven-time Pro Bowler still has a little something left in the tank, but he’s probably done playing in Arizona after one year.
