Look: Stetson Bennett trolls Alabama in new NIL deal with Raising Cane’s
Stetson Bennett is cashing in on an NIL deal with Raising Cane’s but the Georgia quarterback couldn’t pass up an opportunity to troll Alabama too.
Over the course of 60 minutes, Stetson Bennett became a Georgia football and college football legend as he led the Bulldogs to their first national championship in over four decades — beating Alabama to accomplish that feat, no less.
Now, the former walk-on is cashing in on the triumph he led his team to with a big NIL deal.
Late last week on the heels of winning the title, Bennett took a shift at the Raising Cane’s restaurant in Athens to surprise fans.

He officially announced on Tuesday, though, that he’d signed an NIL deal with the restaurant chain as one of their Caniac Ambassadors. However, the Georgia quarterback couldn’t pass up an opportunity to troll the Crimson Tide with the announcement, harkening to the score of the National Championship Game by saying, “That’ll be $33.18”.
Georgia football: Stetson Bennett trolls Alabama with Raising Cane’s NIL deal
That’s expert-level trolling by the Mailman.
With how many jokes Georgia fans have heard from Alabama and SEC fans over the years about 1980, they deserve to throw it back now that they have another natty in the trophy case.
As far as those jabs go, Bennett’s is certainly top-notch. Having said that, it would’ve been even better if the quarterback had signed an NIL deal with UPS or FedEx given his nickname (I’m not sure USPS is dipping their toes into those waters).
Alas, this will have to do.
