On Wednesday night, Manchester United will try to get back on track with a much-needed win going up against Brentford. 

Just when you thought things couldn’t get any more frustrating for Manchester United, the team blew a 2-0 lead over the weekend against Aston Villa and ended up sharing the points. Now, the Red Devils are in desperate need of a win on Wednesday night against Brentford.

Brentford has been able to record some surprising results this campaign, but there’s simply no excuses for Man United in this one. Will the club be able to grab three points, or is another disappointment on the way for the fanbase?

In truly awful fashion, United is in seventh place of the table. Who in the world saw this coming? Injuries have hurt the team, but there’s no excuses for how the team has performed. Come Wednesday, the hope is that Cristiano Ronaldo will be able to return from injury.

Brentford team news

Brentford really has been a fun story this year in the league. The newly-promoted club sits in 14th place of the standings and it doesn’t look like they’ll be at risk of relegation later in the season. Things will be sweet for them if they can upset United in front of their home fans.
