Carlos Correa wasn’t only All-Star candidate Scott Boras added to his client list
Super agent Scott Boras made waves when he signed Carlos Correa, but he also added Reds rookie star Jonathan India to his client list as well.
Scott Boras collects star baseball players like Ash Ketchum collects Pokemon. He’s gotta catch them all.
Already Boras boosted his client list this year by picking up top free agent Carlos Correa and White Sox pitcher Dylan Cease.
Now he’s apparently added another star to his lineup.

Reds second baseman Jonathan India became the lastest MLB award-winner to sign on with Boras, according to Ken Rosenthal on Twitter.
India was the NL Rookie of the Year after a breakout first season in Cincinnati. He batted .269/.376/.459 with 21 home runs. Defensively he was excellent, leading the NL in putouts. He was second in the league in double plays turned.
Now he’ll have Boras running the show for him behind the scenes, which could net him a hefty payday when the time comes for his latest contract negotiations.
India joins the stable of high profile Boras clients including Jose Altuve, Randy Arozarena, Cody Bellinger, Kris Bryant, Gerrit Cole, Joey Gallo, Max Scherzer, Stephen Strasburg and many others.
For now everyone will have to sit tight as the MLB and the players association work out a new collective bargaining agreement. With the lockout continuing to drag on, who knows when negotiations of any sort will be able to resume in baseball.
The Reds drafted India with the No. 5 overall pick in 2018. He worked his way up through the minor leagues until he made his debut on opening day in 2021.
