Here are three impending free agents still in the playoffs the Dallas Cowboys should target this offseason.

The Dallas Cowboys are left wondering what went wrong in yet another season. After clinching the third-seed in the NFC, the Cowboys were seemingly heading for a deep playoff run. Instead, the postseason ended earlier than any Cowboys fan expected, as they were eliminated in the Wild Card Round by the San Francisco 49ers.

Now, the Cowboys can begin planning their offseason. They are expected to lose at least one of their assistant coaches for a head coaching job (Dan Quinn, Kellen Moore). Not to mention they have free agents of their own to re-sign if they so choose. But, what the Cowboys can do is look at the teams still contending for the Super Bowl and keep an eye on their impending free agents.

Cowboys: 3 free agents on playoff teams Dallas should sign

Austin Corbett, G, Los Angeles Rams

The offensive line has long been a strong point for Dallas. Yet, they faced a tough match in the form of the 49ers defensive line. Quarterback Dak Prescott was sacked five times for a loss of 40 yards.

With the season over, the Cowboys have a player hitting free agency in offensive guard Connor Williams. If Dallas wanted to fill the void left by him, they should take a look at Los Angeles Rams guard Austin Corbett.

Corbett has had a good 2021 for the Rams, as he only allowed three sacks and was penalized just twice in all 17 regular-season games (1,081 snaps), per Pro Football Focus.

Signing Corbett will not necessarily be cheap for Dallas, as Spotrac projects him to command an annual salary of $8.7 million. Still, it is a signing the Cowboys should consider.
