Aaron Rodgers was jabbed over and over by the fine folks on Twitter after his Green Bay Packers lost an absolutely embarrassing one to the San Francisco 49ers to end their season.

Aaron Rodgers did not have a shot to defend himself on Saturday night, as Twitter’s finest raked him over the coals after the Green Bay Packers somehow lost again to the San Francisco 49ers in the postseason.

After scoring a touchdown on the first offensive drive of the game, the Packers offense was held out the end zone the rest of the way by the 49ers defense. Not only was their offense pedestrian afterwards, but their special teams unit committed one crime against humanity after another. San Francisco did not score an offensive touchdown all game, but still won the game anyway, 13-10.

Rodgers may need an emotional boost after Twitter savaged him with the best memes and jokes schadenfreude could ever hope to provide.

Aaron Rodgers roasted alive on social media after Green Bay Packers playoff loss

Though people tend to be prisoners of the moment, when was the last time a sports figure was getting piled on this catastrophically after the worst loss of his career?

Rodgers has now gone 0-4 vs. his boyhood team in the postseason. Green Bay has not been to a Super Bowl since the 2010 NFL campaign.

Whether it is Skip Bayless, Keith Olbermann or recent Twitter sensation Dick Butkus, Rodgers got pile driven into the ground with more ferocity than anything you could ever hope to see on Friday Night SmackDown. If only Michael Cole and Pat McAfee were on the call…

Though Rodgers will win his fourth NFL MVP, his time in Green Bay is potentially over. The Packers’ Last Dance was every bit as spectacular as the 2011 Philadelphia Eagles Dream Team. When Rodgers sits down with Joe Rogan and discusses this season in the coming weeks, he will surely find a way to deflect blame and say it was all Mark Murphy’s fault as he relaxes in Hawaii.

The future of the Packers is incredibly bleak with its quarterback riding out of town on horseback.
