Oklahoma State offensive coordinator Kasey Dunn helped save the life of Cowboys star wrestler A.J. Ferrari by pulling him from a burning car on Monday evening.
A scary moment occurred near Oklahoma State University, as star Cowboys wrestler A.J. Ferrari and cross-country runner Isai Rodriguez were involved in a head-on collision just outside of town.
While Ferrari and Rodriguez thankfully do not have any life-threatening injuries, they should be grateful that offensive coordinator Kasey Dunn was there to save the day. Ferrari was flown by helicopter to a hospital in Oklahoma City after the Pokes offensive coordinator pulled him out of the burning car.
Ferrari is said to have fluid in his lungs and some internal bleeding, per an update from his father. Rodriguez was able to crawl out of the broken windshield with a facial injury. This accident occurred on Highway 33 between Perkins, Oklahoma and Ripley, Oklahoma. The head-on collision happened when the car tried to pass several others ahead of them on the Oklahoma highway.

This year, Ferrari is 10-0 and is the No. 1 wrestler in his weight class at 197 pounds. Oklahoma State is the No. 4 team in the country on the wrestling mat.
