The NFL wants Myles Garrett to do yet another random drug test and it’s hard to blame him for being annoyed with the testing policies at this point.

For some reason, the NFL seems to really enjoy doing drug screenings with Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett.

One day after he took to Instagram to share a fairly inconsequential photo that showed off his abs, Garrett received some texts requesting him to submit to a drug screening. Unsurprisingly, Garrett shared the texts on Twitter for everyone to see (and crack jokes about).

That’s not fun.

If you’re conspiracy inclined, the timing of this request for a drug test hardly seems coincidental. And of course, this isn’t the first time something like this has happened between Garrett and the NFL. And Garrett isn’t exactly a stranger to these protocols.

The NFL has a bit of history with hitting Garrett with drug tests at seemingly very odd moments. Like the time he went without sleeves and then had to go through with a “random” drug test back in October. At one point in October, Garrett was tested three different times within the span of four weeks.

That’s remarkably tedious and annoying for anyone to have to go through.

Now it’s happening once again.

What are the chances that he’d post a picture on Instagram and then subsequently be told he needs to be tested? Is there any way that these tests are actually, genuinely random? And who is the intern at the NFL office tasked with scrolling Instagram and looking for pictures of players looking swole and not skipping leg day so they can be added to the list for another “random” test?
