Watch Johnny Knoxville get eliminated by Sami Zayn at Royal Rumble

Jackass Forever star Johnny Knoxville entered the Royal Rumble match, but was thrown out by Sami Zayn.

At WWE’s Day 1 event, an Instagram post from Jackass Forever star Johnny Knoxville surfaced, announcing that he wanted part in the 2022 Royal Rumble match. He officially earned his spot on an episode of SmackDown after throwing Sami Zayn over the top rope.

Knoxville entered the Royal Rumble match as the No. 9 entrant. He was not in the match for very long, as he was got beaten up by the likes of A.J. Styles and Montez Ford, before he was officially eliminated by Zayn after a helluva kick.

Johnny Knoxville eliminated from WWE Royal Rumble match

We all know that Knoxville was going to do something crazy in the Royal Rumble. He may not have done an insane stunt, but he sure did get a warm welcome from the WWE superstars. And by warm welcome, we mean a strike combo by Styles and a frog splash by Ford.

Knoxville is the first celebrity to be an entrant in the Royal Rumble since Drew Carey did so back in 2001. Carey entered the ring, watched Matt and Jeff Hardy eliminate each other before being encountered by Kane. After Raven saved him from a chokeslam, Carey eliminated himself from the match by climbing over the top rope and to the floor.

Later on in the match, however, rapper Bad Bunny entered the Royal Rumble match and impressed much like he did in his debut match at WrestleMania 37. He did eliminate Sheamus and Dolph Ziggler, but he was thrown out of the ring by eventual winner Brock Lesnar.

You can say this about Knoxville, he did make an impact in his first official WWE match. Well, he made an impact when he hit the floor.
