Some Kansas City Chiefs fans are begging to be sprayed with champagne by Brittany Matthews.

It’s been one week since Brittany Matthews doused legions of Kansas City Chiefs fans with champagne spray in sub-freezing temperatures, but some people are just begging for it … literally.

Yes, there are Chiefs fans at Arrowhead for the AFC Championship Game vs. the Cincinnati Bengals that have had brought #TeamBritt posters with them in eager anticipation of a sacred champagne shower. If the Chiefs beat Cincinnati, they will play the winner of the NFC Championship Game between the Los Angeles Rams and the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl. Will they get it?

Should the Bengals pull off the monumental upset, there will be no victory champagne for them.

Kansas City Chiefs fans want that Brittany Matthews champagne victory spray

Matthews first sprayed a bottle of champagne all over members of Chiefs Kingdom after Kansas City beat the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Divisional Round down by a score with 13 seconds left. Kansas City tied it up with a Harrison Butker made field goal at the end of regulation. The Chiefs won the coin toss in overtime and the rest is history. That was the greatest playoff game ever.

Should the Chiefs beat the Bengals, it will be the third trip to the Super Bowl in a row for Kansas City. They have already hosted the last four AFC Championship Games, so one could argue it is Super Bowl or bust every year now and going forward for the Chiefs. Kansas City would be favored over either the Rams or the 49ers in two weeks, even if it is technically a Los Angeles home game.

If the Chiefs prove victorious over the Bengals, then these fans need to find the Mahomes’ suite.
