Chiefs receivers Tyreek Hill and Mecole Hardman got into a heated argument on the sideline while Kansas City battled the Bengals in the AFC title game.

The Chiefs were rolling early against the Bengals in the AFC Championship Game, but things unraveled a bit in the second half.

What had been a 21-3 lead evaporated and Kansas City’s sideline didn’t seem to handle the pressure well.

Before the Bengals tied things up thanks to an interception, Tyreek Hill and Mecole Hardman were caught on camera having an argument.

Hill and Hardman each caught touchdowns in the first half as Kansas City jumped ahead. The good feelings faded at some point as the Bengals worked their way back into the game.

On one hand, Chiefs fans could be concerned about a lack of harmony on the sideline.

On the other hand, KC can take heart knowing their sideline isn’t lacking in passion.

As always with these kinds of incidents, the perception of them after the fact will depend on how the game turns.

If Kansas City goes on to win, it’ll be a forgotten incident of little consequence. If the Chiefs get upset by the Bengals, it could be one of those moments replayed in every highlight package as a sign of where things went wrong.

Hill opened the scoring when Patrick Mahomes found him in the back corner of the endzone in the first quarter. Hardman caught the final Chiefs touchdown of the first half.
