Terrell Owens had plenty to say about the Browns and Odell Beckham Jr. after Rams reach Super Bowl
By Ethan Lee
Odell Beckham Jr. finally has a shot at competing in the Super Bowl and Terrell Owens couldn’t be happier for the Los Angeles Rams receiver.
Los Angeles Rams receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has an NFL legend backing him. Terrell Owens, who was a dominant wide receiver during his playing days, took to Twitter to celebrate Beckham and the Rams making it to the Super Bowl and also to take some shots at one of Beckham’s former teams.
Owens doesn’t exactly seem all that thrilled with the Cleveland Browns or Baker Mayfield, the Browns’ quarterback.
That said, he is thrilled Beckham will get his chance to play for a championship.
Owens clearly is siding with Beckham in all of this and he’s not holding anything back.

It appears as if Owens believes Beckham deserved more respect and Mayfield deserves far more criticism for the way things went down with Cleveland. Beckham is a talented receiver and was a valuable part of the Browns’ offense, but things ultimately fell apart there.
However, it worked out well for the 29-year-old receiver as he now has a shot to win a Super Bowl for the first time in his career.
Signing with the Rams has been just the sort of move that Beckham needed to have an opportunity to actually win a championship. Up to this point, Beckham has been on mediocre teams that have underachieved. But the Rams have an abundance of talent that has put Los Angeles (and Beckham) in position to get a title.
While Beckham hasn’t always been all that impressive with the Rams, he’s able to help this offense out in some pretty important ways. When the Rams needed him to step up against the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game, Beckham did just that, catching nine passes for 113 yards.
We’ll see what kind of role Beckham plays in the Super Bowl, but at the end of the day, Beckham is actually playing in the Super Bowl. Mayfield and the Browns, meanwhile, have some very big questions they’ll have to answer.
