During the “Let’s Go Podcast,” Tom Brady told Joe Burrow what his best career move was after his Cincinnati Bengals made it to Super Bowl LVI.

It just so happens that Joe Burrow and Tom Brady are two quarterbacks who are the center of attention in the NFL. Burrow’s Cincinnati Bengals defeated the Kansas City Chiefs to clinch a spot in Super Bowl LVI, while reports indicated that Brady will retire after 22 seasons.

Burrow appeared on Brady’s “Let’s Go!” podcast on Monday, where the seven-time Super Bowl champion told the young Bengals signal caller that the best move of his career was to leave “that god-forsaken place,” Ohio State.

Tom Brady jokes leaving Ohio State was best decision of Joe Burrow’s career

Of course, Brady played college football for Ohio State’s rival, the Michigan Wolverines.

Burrow spent the first three years of his college career as a part of the Buckeyes football program before transferring to LSU. In his senior year playing for the Tigers, Burrow won the Heisman Trophy by throwing for 5,671 yards and 60 touchdowns, and won the National Championship in the team’s 15-0 undefeated season. That propelled Burrow to become the top quarterback prospect in 2020, and was selected by Cincinnati with the first-overall pick.

Now, a year removed after tearing his ACL, Burrow’s play has helped the Bengals win the AFC North, earn their first playoff victory since 1991, and clinched their first AFC Championship since the 1988 season. Not bad for a quarterback in his second-year in the NFL.

As for Brady, he spoke on this podcast episode regarding the reports of his playing future. After reports that he would retire after 22 seasons broke over the weekend were refuted, Brady said that he is still weighing his options.

Burrow and the Bengals will take on the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LVI on Feb. 13 at SoFi Stadium.
