Skip Bayless reacts to Tom Brady’s official retirement: ‘Greatest football player ever’
Sports journalist Skip Bayless offers a heartfelt tribute to his favorite quarterback, Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr., on “Undisputed.”
Since 2016, Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe have gone head to head on FS1’s “Undisputed.” The two hosts typically take opposing sides on contemporary sports topics, one of the most polarizing ones being the appropriate credit due to Tom Brady in wins and losses.
Bayless, who constantly professes his admiration for TB12, offered a heartfelt two-minute tribute to Brady, whom he emphatically refers to as “Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr.” during heated arguments.
“I will remember this man as by far the greatest football player ever,” Bayless said. “He shattered the mold of what a football player is supposed to look like and act like off the field.”

In the past, Bayless has professed his love for Brady, which accompanies his appreciation for the Dallas Cowboys and Oklahoma Sooners. Still, no seems to hold the same place Brady does in Bayless’ heart.
When Brady won his seventh Super Bowl, Bayless celebrated with an embarrassing video of his unabashed fandom.
Bayless recently noticed that Brady was speaking about the Buccaneers in the past tense, an act he considered “horrifying.” While news of Brady’s intention to retire broke early over the weekend, Skip Bayless and other Brady fans have had a few days to process what the moment means for Tom Brady’s legacy.
