It is not every day the greatest quarterback in football history decides to call it a career. While the news of him potentially going in this direction broke last week, it was never going to be official until it came out of The GOAT’s mouth. Brady will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in the Class of 2027 on the first ballot. Football will never see a quarterback as dominant as he was.

What Brady best epitomized in his illustrious career was excellence. During his 20-year run in New England, he sacrificed so much for the betterment of the team. Love him or hate him, he made all fans of the sport better for it. Without debate, Brady gave his all to the sport that he loved. He should look back on a career that inspired so many to stop with their excuses and go do their job.

Undoubtedly, Brady left football in a far better position than he found it many decades ago.
