While Jim Harbaugh will be back with the Michigan Wolverines, that doesn’t seem to be phasing many Ohio State football fans.
It appears as if things didn’t work out between the Minnesota Vikings and Jim Harbaugh despite the fact the Michigan football coach appeared to be interested in the NFL head coaching vacancy.
According to a tweet from Adam Schefter, Harbaugh is making his way back to Michigan instead of heading out to Minnesota. While the Vikings sure seemed interested in Harbaugh, he’s not actually going anywhere. However, some Ohio State football fans aren’t all that worried about their rival’s coach returning.
Jim Harbaugh called Michigan to inform the school that, despite interviewing with the Vikings today, he will be returning to school for the 2022 season, sources tell ESPN. Michigan was, in the words of one source, “elated” to get Harbaugh’s decision.

Fans of the Michigan Wolverines? Well, they’re elated and ecstatic. This is huge news for them. The folks in Ohio rooting for the Ohio State Buckeyes? They don’t seem all that concerned. In fact, many of them are happy Harbaugh will be back as well.
Michigan football: Jim Harbaugh to stay in Ann Arbor despite interview with Minnesota Vikings
While Michigan and Harbaugh found a way to get a very good win over Ohio State this season, the Buckeyes have been in control of their rivalry game with the Wolverines for a while now.
Ohio State fans are also "elated" that Jim Harbaugh is returning to Michigan.

Merry Christmas, Ohio State fans.

Harbaugh hasn’t exactly been all that successful against the Buckeyes. There’s always a chance that could change going forward, Michigan is working on building a pretty solid program, but there’s no guarantee there.

Maybe Ohio State fans will come to regret this. Or maybe there’s a chance that the Buckeyes will return to running the Big Ten and beating up on Harbaugh and Michigan on a regular basis.
