If J.J. Watt thinks the Pro Bowl is a colossal waste of time, then it shouldn’t be played.

Among the many things the NFL gets wrong, the Pro Bowl would have to be right up there.

While it is great to recognize the top players in a sport with an All-Star nod, these glorified exhibitions become a snooze fest in any league as soon as a sports fan hits puberty. Though other sports can finesse their way through these meaningless contests, football is a collision sport that has to be played all-out to be a good watch, and the Pro Bowl has long been anything but that.

When Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman J.J. Watt thinks the Pro Bowl is a total joke, maybe now is the time to fix this god awful television monstrosity no one in their right mind would watch willingly?

J.J. Watt drags the Pro Bowl for being horrendous, and so do many NFL fans

While these games are about the fans, we as a viewing public are better served watching television static than spending a single second subjecting ourselves to the Pro Bowl.

If you have not done your taxes yet, make better use of your Sunday than watching the Pro Bowl.

Ultimately, everyone and their brother is piling on the Pro Bowl for being simply terrible. If it is for the fans and the fans aren’t watching, then what is the point of it, honestly? Fate would have it, there is only one solution here. Bring back American Gladiators and have the AFC duke it out vs. the NFC. People will not only watch this, but will record it on their state-of-the-art VCRs at home.

Give us American Gladiators or give us death or better yet, just put the Pro Bowl out to pasture.
