Alvin Kamara arrest: Mugshot, disturbing details revealed by Las Vegas police

More details continue to come out from the arrest in Las Vegas for New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara. 

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara is facing a felony charge from his arrest over the weekend in Las Vegas and the latest details aren’t going to help out his case. Kamara was arrested after playing in the Pro Bowl on Sunday.

According to TMZ Sports, Kamara was interviewed by police at the stadium after he allegedly punched a man at around 6 a.m. on Saturday morning, causing that person to suffer a broken orbital and being taken to the hospital. Now, it’s been revealed by TMZ that Kamara allegedly punched the victim eight times. 

Alvin Kamara was arrested in Las Vegas on felony battery charges

Per TMZ, video of the assault was captured on camera and handed over to the police to help out with their investigation. Per the police report, Kamara shoved the man near an elevator and then four men, including Kamara, beat him down.

While speaking to the police on Sunday, Kamara admitted to punching the man and he was taken into custody shortly after that. Now, he’s facing up to five years in prison if he’s found guilty on his felony battery charge.

Kamara is known as being one of the best running backs in the game. This past season for New Orleans, though, Kamara had a bit of a down campaign. He finished 2021 rushing for 898 yards and four touchdowns. He added 47 receptions for 439 yards and five more scores through the air. Those numbers led to him being selected to the Pro Bowl.

The Saints are yet to publicly comment on Kamara’s arrest. Obviously, his future with the team is up in the air pending the outcome of this case.
