Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. LB . Georgia. Quay Walker . 118. player. 47

Staying with defense, how about a national champion linebacker from Georgia for the fourth round? That’s what the Patriots could be getting in Quay Walker. Walker was a two-year starter for the Bulldogs and he was a fan favorite in Athens.

At 6-foot-4, 240 pounds, Walker is built a bit on the thinner side compared to most NFL linebackers. However, you can’t argue with the kind of production he was able to provide for Kirby Smart and his coaching staff.

In 2021, Walker recorded 65 total tackles, 1.5 sacks, three pass deflections and one fumble recovery. Each game, he was flying all over the field ready to make plays for the Bulldogs. He played a major role in helping the team win the National Championship this winter as well.

Now, Walker is ready to take his skills to the next level. He’s got a third/fourth round draft grade by most experts. With linebacker also being an area of need for New England, the fourth round would be a good time to try and address the position. Walker could very well end up being their guy.
