Xfinity customers will need to check their local lineups to see what channel NBC is on to watch Super Bowl 56 between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams.
With Super Bowl 56 between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams being broadcasted nationally on NBC, Xfinity customers will need to search their local lineup to find out what channel the game will be shown on.
This is the first time these teams will meet in a Super Bowl. For the Bengals, this is their third-ever trip to the big game and their first since 1988. They are one of only a handful of teams who have never won a Super Bowl before. While the Rams were in the Super Bowl only four years ago, they have never won one when they were located in Los Angeles. In 1999, they called St. Louis home.
So what channel is NBC on Xfinity? That all depends on where you live. Here is how you can find your local channel lineup.
Super Bowl 56: What channel is NBC on Xfinity?
Because NBC is part of any Xfinity package, it should not be all that hard to find. Look for it around where ABC, CBS, FOX and CW are on your local television package. As far as this game airing on NBC, here are a few interesting tidbits. This could be native Angeleno Al Michaels’ final game in the booth. As for his colleague Cris Collinsworth, he starred for the Bengals back in the 1980s.
Overall, this could be one of the more exciting Super Bowls in recent memory. While the Rams are playing in their own building, they are not massive favorites in this one. Cincinnati has been underdogs in their two previous postseason games. Now that they have proven they can win road playoff games, who is to say winning the Super Bowl on the other team’s turf will be an issue?
Be sure to tune into NBC to not miss a second of the Bengals vs. the Rams in the Super Bowl.
