Joe Burrow’s girlfriend, Olivia Holzmacher, posted a message on her Instagram about her pride in the Bengals quarterback even after the Super Bowl loss.

Joe Burrow’s family and friends were on hand for the Super Bowl but they had to deal with disappointment as the Bengals fell to the Rams.

It had to be particularly tough for Burrow’s girlfriend, Olivia Holzmacher, to watch the loss as the quarterback was sacked seven times in total.

Throughout the day, Holzmacher had been active on her Instagram story sharing views of SoFi Stadium and the halftime show. She added a final message when it was all over expressing her feelings in the simplest terms.

Joe Burrow’s girlfriend Oliva Holzmacher was proud after Super Bowl

“Still beyond proud,” she wrote over a photo from outside SoFi.

There really isn’t much more for her to say. Despite the loss, Burrow did everything he could to give his team a chance.

Burrow was hammered by the Rams pass rush for the entire game. He still managed to throw for 263 yards and a touchdown without committing any turnovers.

It wasn’t meant to be in the end. After Matthew Stafford led his team down the field to score in the final minutes, Burrow had a narrow window to match the effort.

Again, it was Aaron Donald and LA’s defensive front that caused all sorts of problems. On a fourth-and-1 with the game on the line, Donald disrupted a pass and sealed the result.

Burrow did an exceptional job even getting his team to the Super Bowl at this point. While nothing is guaranteed, he should have opportunities to get back and win it.
