Michelob Ultra’s Super Bowl commercial was every bit a nod to The Big Lebowski and The Dude, man.

That Michelob Ultra Super Bowl commercial featuring cameos from Peyton Manning and Serena Williams was pretty far out, man.

Though no Jeffery Lebowski or Walter Sobchak graced this most sacred bowling alley, Steve Buscemi and his eyes were there to take it all in behind the counter. No amount of In-N-Out Burger could distract him from seeing Manning, Brooks Koepka, Jimmy Butler and Alex Morgan from bowling strike after strike after strike. Then, the Jesus walked in, but it was Serena instead.

The only thing that ruined this amazing commercial was Donnie would not shut up the entire time.

Michelob Ultra Super Bowl commercial was all about The Big Lebowski, man

There are few things as synonymous with bowling than The Big Lebowski. You can say you have never ordered a White Russian while you play a game of 10-pin in your clear Jellies, but you would also be a liar who thinks The Eagles are the greatest band of all time. Give me Creedence Clearwater Revival or give me death. If it is the latter, then put my ashes into a canister of Folgers!

Though The Big Lebowski came out 25 years ago, man, it is cinematic art that transcends time and place, just like The Dude. No wonder Butler, Koepka, Manning, Morgan and Williams were there to bring this great commercial to life. It also brought Donnie back from the dead, which is all that anybody really cared about anyway. The guy had a tough break, man, but we raise an Ultra to you.

This was the best commercial of Super Bowl Sunday mostly because it was Big Lebowski inspired.
