Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill didn’t miss his chance to give some payback to Eli Apple for his performance in the Super Bowl.

Remember when Eli Apple decided to troll Mecole Hardman and Tyreek Hill after the AFC Championship Game? Of course you do. People called Apple out left and right for not winning with class. Well, karma has certainly caught up to him.

Apple got lit up in the Super Bowl, which included giving up the game-winning touchdown from Matthew Stafford to Cooper Kupp. Hardman enjoyed himself watching that, and you better believe Hill did as well.

Tyreek Hill trolling Eli Apple for his Super Bowl showing is no surprise

A quick look at Apple’s Twitter page shows he’s been quite silent on social media since his rough showing. Although he hasn’t tweeted yet, so many of his haters went ahead and put him on blast for what was a game to forget for him.

What did Apple expect here? For him to take shots at Hardman and Hill was a joke. It’s something he really shouldn’t have done. Some people may be saying that Hill and Hardman could have taken the high road by letting things go, but no one is blaming them for having a field day at Apple’s expense either.

The Chiefs suffered a heartbreaking loss to the Bengals in the AFC title game, but Cincinnati wasn’t able to get the job done with the Lombardi Trophy on the line. Now, Hill, Hardman and the rest of the Chiefs can’t wait to meet the Bengals next. The wide receivers as a whole for Kansas City will most definitely look to put on a show going up against Apple in coverage as well.
