Kansas City Chiefs Mock Draft – 7th Round

DT . 207. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Penn State. Derrick Tangelo. player. 124

The Chiefs are going to be quite busy for the seventh round, as Veach has three picks to work with. This means it’s a good time to keep focusing on the defense, particularly the defensive line. With the No. 203 overall pick, Penn State defensive tackle Derrick Tangelo could be available and KC shouldn’t hesitate in grabbing him. The 6-3, 308-pound DT had two sacks for Penn State in 2021.

124. Scouting Report. OT. 213. player. Pick Analysis. North Dakota State. Cordell Volson

For the offensive line, you can never have enough quality depth. This is something the Chiefs need to add entering the new season and they could do just that in the seventh round. While Cordell Volson didn’t receive a ton of attention because he wasn’t at a Power-5 program, he checks in at 6-foot-6, 320 pounds. He’s a beast up front.

Nate Landman. 124. Pick Analysis. OLB . Colorado. 221. player. Scouting Report

Last but not least, the Chiefs’ last pick for the draft comes in at No. 221 overall and outside linebacker Nate Landman is another guy fans could be excited about down the road. Landman was a standout for Colorado, as the 6-foot-2, 235-pounder was known for making big play after big play on Saturdays.
