Following Anthony Davis’ injury against the Utah Jazz, Los Angeles Lakers have taken to Twitter and are very clearly panicking about his injury.
More bad news for the Los Angeles Lakers.
During Wednesday evening’s Lakers’ game against the Utah Jazz, Anthony Davis suffered a frightening injury on what appeared to be a very routine play. He jumped up and the floor definitely wasn’t friendly with his ankle as gravity brought him back to the ground.
If you’re squeamish about injuries, this is NOT something you want to watch.

Los Angeles Lakers: NBA Twitter reacts after Anthony Davis goes down with an injury
It’s hard to blame people for being upset and concerned about Davis and this injury. This whole incident is far from ideal during a season that is full of situations that have been far from ideal for Los Angeles.

The Lakers don’t exactly have a ton of depth and there’s absolutely no way not having Davis could positively impact their ability to fight for a playoff spot.

Right now, the Lakers sit at 26-31. They’re holding on to the ninth spot in the western conference. Losing Davis would pretty much put an end to any playoff hopes the Lakers have.
Of course, more importantly, Davis is hurt again. The frequency with which Davis gets injured is often memed and joked about, but it’s legitimately concerning. Whenever he’s fully healthy, Davis is a transcendent star. For his sake, hopefully he’s able to rest and get healed up soon. Lakers fans would definitely appreciate that as well.
