The Eagles have three first-round picks to utilize in April’s draft. Here’s how Philadelphia can remake their roster with all 10 of their selections.

Nick Sirianni managed to pilot the Eagles to a playoff berth last season but no one in Philadelphia should be under any delusions of granduer. This roster needs significant work before they can really believe in themselvs as legitimate Super Bowl contenders.

Fortunately for the Eagles, they head into April’s NFL Draft with a ton of capital to work with. Three first-round picks will grab all the headlines but Philadelphia has 10 total selections to utilize. Expect trades to be part of the equation for the team’s front office.

This mock will proceed without any transactions. Eagles fans should keep a close eye on the following players as the pre-draft process rolls along.

Round 1: Kaiir Elam

The Eagles will consider bringing Steven Nelson back for another year, but it’s time to find a better partner for Darius Slay in the starting cornerback spot. Elam would give them an excellent young cornerback prospect to build their secondary of the future around.

The former Florida standout isn’t a nuclear athlete, but he has above-average speed and quickness for his position. His flexibility to operate right away in press man and zone coverage schemes should appeal to the Eagles coaching staff. Throw in Elam’s toughness and competitive streak and it’s easy to envision him landing in Philadelphia and locking down a starting spot as a rookie.
