Some members of the Arizona State football team don’t exactly appear overjoyed for their former teammate, quarterback Jayden Daniels, who is leaving the team.
The Arizona State football team was put under scrutiny Thursday.
In all fairness, there’s been all sorts of scrutiny as of late as the Sun Devils are being investigated by the NCAA. But NCAA troubles aren’t exactly what’s been put under a microscope this week. Arizona State is getting some attention because of the reaction some members of the Arizona State football team had to Jayden Daniels deciding to enter the transfer portal.
Daniels, a 21-year-old 6-foot-3, 185-pound quarterback, has thrown for 6,025 yards and 32 touchdowns during his time with the Sun Devils.
He also just had his locker cleared out by some former teammates who aren’t happy for him.

Well. At least they helped him clean up?
Arizona State football: Some Sun Devils frustrated as quarterback Jayden Daniels enters transfer portal
From the outside looking in, that doesn’t exactly look great. Getting a brief look into some locker room frustrations isn’t really good for anyone. It definitely doesn’t reflect well on on Herm Edwards, Arizona State’s head coach, or the players involved in the video.
moral of the story: idk y’all’s locker room. but man.. if someone doesn’t wanna be on your team: let ‘em go. if you want revenge: whoop his new teams ass when you play. but *this* isn’t exactly a ringing endorsement of what you guys have going on. https://t.co/8sSVMCPsqm

This video, and the situation being recorded, didn’t sit right with many!
man the idea of ppl going into my locker, not even about posting the video and talking shit, just going into my locker and touching my stuff is infuriating.

The Sun Devils are coming off of a respectable 8-5 season. It remains to be seen if the program will remain steady moving forward. Moments like this don’t do much to instill confidence that things will go smoothly this season.
