Given the fact that Beckham is coming off a major injury, it would make the most sense for him to simply re-sign with the defending Super Bowl champions. The chemistry between Beckham and Matthew Stafford developed immediately and a full year together could lead to some monster numbers.

Los Angeles also has a need for another outside receiver since Cooper Kupp is at his best when he can operate primarily out of the slot. Robert Woods should be able to fill one of those spots if he can return from his own season-ending injury and pairing Woods with Beckham would be very difficult for other teams to cover.

The appeal of spending a full year in Los Angeles also has to be worth a lot to Beckham, who can raise his media profile by spending another season in the entertainment capital of the world. The main factor that should drive Beckham’s decision here would be familiarity, especially with the ACL injury to consider.

Instead of having to relocate to another city and learn a new offensive system, Beckham could stay in a system he functioned very well in while focusing on getting his knee back to full strength as quickly as possible. A reunion with the Rams makes the most sense for all parties involved and it wouldn’t be shocking if Beckham rewards the team’s faith in him by returning for the 2022 season.
