Skip Bayless actually tried to use the NBA Dunk Contest to back his claims that LeBron James is not the GOAT for the game.

Everyone has gotten used to Skip Bayless going after LeBron James on social media, but did he really have to try and connect the superstar to the NBA Slam Dunk Contest? As it turns out, Bayless had no choice but to try and bring LeBron down, despite him not even participating in things.

Matter of fact, James has never laced up his sneakers to throw down some epics jams in a dunk contest. If you ask Bayless, that’s reason enough for him to never be in the same conversation as Michael Jordan as the No. 1 player ever.

LeBron never being in a Slam Dunk Contest is too much to Skip Bayless to handle

Bayless just had to go there, didn’t he? People have been talking about the Slam Dunk Contest all weekend, but not for good reasons. Usually a great show each February, the opposite was the case this year. It was a major letdown and so many fans out there were disappointed.

Now, Bayless is using that terrible showcase as an excuse to go after James for the one millionth time. It’s an old act, but Bayless has never been one to shy away from delivering some truly questionable takes on Twitter. People have gotten used to it by now.

With that said, James of course isn’t going to lose any sleep over these contests. He’s more worried about staying healthy and trying to get the LA Lakers in a position to make some noise in the playoffs. If the Lakers don’t, you know Bayless will be ready to go after James yet again.
