WWE fans sent their support to Big E following a scary landing after a suplex during Friday Night SmackDown that resulted in the superstar suffering a broken neck.
The opening match of the March 11 edition of Friday Night SmackDown was Big E and Kofi Kingston against Sheamus and Ridge Holland. Towards the end of the match, Big E was on the outside of the ring and was grabbed by Holland and given a belly to belly suplex. However, Big E landed directly on the top of his head onto the floor in what was a terrifying moment to see.
According to those in attendance at Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Ala., Big E was placed on a stretcher and taken backstage.
