The 2022 NFL Draft is only a month or so away, and as teams make personnel changes, their needs in the first round continue to change as well.

We are only a few days into the new league year for the NFL, and we are already seeing so many changes in terms of team needs. The 2022 NFL Draft is a little over a month away, and as teams continue to spend money in free agency, and swing trades, we are going to see the first round change in a big way.

Here, we look at our latest 2022 NFL Mock Draft.

2022 NFL Mock Draft: Needs continue to change as league year begins

52. . Edge. Jacksonville Jaguars. Aidan Hutchinson. 1. player

The Jacksonville Jaguars have been busy building up their roster, including adding some talented players to the offensive line. Trevor Lawrence is priority No. 1 for this franchise, and by adding Brandon Scherff to the fold, they are proving they want to get it right up front on that side of the ball.

With the No. 1 overall pick, Jacksonville could choose to continue to bolster the offensive line, but in this mock, they bring in a quality edge rusher. Aidan Hutchinson is a guy who can help this pass rush immediately, and he is as NFL-ready as anybody in this draft class.

player. 50. . Safety. Detroit Lions. Kyle Hamilton. 2

With pick No. 2 overall, the Detroit Lions will look to get better on the defensive side of the ball, especially with Aaron Rodgers returning to the division for the foreseeable future. The Lions need help on all three levels, and with this pick, they add a player who many feel is the best overall player in this draft class.

That player is Notre Dame star Kyle Hamilton, who is the kind of safety you can build your entire secondary around. Hamilton can fly around from sideline to sideline and has tremendous hands, something that is going to make him a scary player at the next level.

10. . Ed. Houston Texans. Kayvon Thibodeaux. 3. player

When it comes to the Houston Texans, all eyes are on what is going to happen with Deshaun Watson, as trading him away is going to bring numerous first-round picks. For now, the Texans only hold one first-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, the No. 3 overall selection, which they use to bolster the defensive line.

Aidan Hutchinson and Kayvon Thibodeaux are seen as 1A and 1B when it comes to the edge rusher spot in this draft class, and he lands in Houston here. He could be the next coming of JJ Watt for this franchise, bringing a menacing presence off the edge for years to come.
