Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James details how he unwinds after playing games at home in Los Angeles, choosing to relax and spend time with his family.

It’s been a tough year for Lakers fans and players, as many fans have been harassing the players and demanding better play.

Even after an uplifting win over the Cavaliers, the Lakers are 31-41 at No. 9 in the Western Conference, with some considerable distance behind the Los Angeles Clippers. None of this bodes well for the mental welfare of the biggest Lakers stars, as the Westbrook family has made clear by asking fans to be more considerate.

LeBron James is also hearing the narratives written about his team, and he chooses to clear his mind when he comes home from Los Angeles games.

Here is how James likes to unwind after games, per Harrison Faigen of SB Nation.

LeBron James relaxes after Lakers games with the best routine

According to James, he likes to head home after games and drink wine or tequila to relax. “If I’m at my house in LA I’m watching a movie with the kids or I’m playing Madden,” James added.

Aside from sharing his postgame routine, James spoke about how he’s focused on playing his best basketball and overcoming injuries at age 37. In the past few years, James has uncharacteristically dealt with injuries like never before, and it significantly shaped the 2021-22 season. With James absent for several weeks and then Anthony Davis out for more, the Lakers flailed with a Russell Westbrook trade that has yet to pan out as expected.

Even though the Lakers aren’t having the best season, LeBron is statistically having one of the best seasons of his career. James is currently the scoring leader in the NBA with an average of 30 points per game, edging above Joel Embiid and Giannis Antetokounmpo. If James maintains his routine and his average, the 37-year-old power forward could enjoy another accolade all while spending time with his family when the game is done.
