After losing two of the best receivers in the NFL, the Green Bay Packers and the Kansas City Chiefs are both searching for replacements.

Well, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Green Bay Packers have phenomenally talented quarterbacks. Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes are truly great! As it turns out, it generally helps to have a really good wide receiver regardless of whoever is playing quarterback. Even phenomenally talented quarterbacks can’t be expected to throw and catch the ball, just ask Tom Brady.

Sometimes, a team will need some talented wide receivers to improve its chances of succeeding and thriving. Sometimes that includes teams with great quarterbacks.

So, after the Packers traded Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders and Kansas City traded Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins, it makes sense that both Green Bay and the Chiefs would choose to pursue some great wide receivers.

Apparently, both the Packers and the Chiefs are reaching out to the Seattle Seahawks to ask about some really talented receivers.

Green Bay Packers, Kansas City Chiefs apparently interested in trading for talented wide receivers

According to a tweet from Jack Settleman, the Seahawks have apparently been contacted about possible trades that would involve DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett. As Settleman notes, Seattle isn’t set to trade either Metcalf or Lockett right now, but the Seahawks are apparently willing to hear out offers for the receivers.

Over the past three seasons, Metcalf has emerged as one of the most intriguing wide receivers in the NFL. During his time with the Seahawks, Metcalf has caught 216 passes for 3,170 yards and 29 touchdowns.

Lockett has demonstrated time and time again that he is a talented and successful wide receiver. He has long been a steady contributor for Seattle. Since 2015, Lockett has caught 449 passes for 6,067 yards and 45 touchdowns.
