2022 NFL Mock Draft: Tyreek Hill trade to Dolphins disrupts first round
By Brad Weiss
The Cincinnati Bengals went into this offseason with one goal in mind, and that was bolstering the offensive line. The Bengals saw Joe Burrow hit the turf way too often during their Super Bowl run, and this offseason, they have already started building upfront on that side of the ball.
With this pick, the Bengals continue to stack talent along the offensive line, adding Kenyon Green from Texas A&M. Green can play both guard or tackle at the next level, and that bodes well for the new-look Bengals offensive line.
Rounding out the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft is the Detroit Lions, as they are picking where the Los Angeles Rams would have had they not traded for Matthew Stafford. The trade worked out well for the Rams, who won the Super Bowl last year, and for the Lions, they are starting from the ground up.
After picking their franchise quarterback at No. 2 overall, Detroit gets Malik Willis a weapon here in Christian Watson. Detroit has some solid talent at wideout returning in 2022, and with Watson in the fold, Willis, or Goff, would have no trouble finding people open on the outside.
