. Offensive Lineman. Philadelphia Eagles. Zion Johnson. 19. player. 54

The final pick of the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft for the Philadelphia Eagles comes in at No. 19 overall, their third pick in a five-selection span. With their first two picks, Philadelphia brought in a wideout and a cornerback, and here, they bolster the offensive line.

The pick at No. 19 overall is Zion Johnson, an absolute mauler from Boston College that can play anywhere along the interior of the offensive line at the next level. Philadelphia has committed to Jalen Hurts, so it does not hurt to get him some help up front, and Johnson is going to be special.

. Offensive Lineman. Pittsburgh Steelers. Tyler Linderbaum. 20. player. 55

There is no longer a question as to who will replace Ben Roethlisberger as the starting quarterback in Pittsburgh, as the team went out and signed Mitchell Trubisky. Trubisky improved as the backup in Buffalo, and looking at his statistics in Chicago, this was a great get for the Steelers.

Moving forward, Pittsburgh has to revamp the offensive line, and they get an elite center here in Tyler Linderbaum. In fact, Linderbaum should be the only center taken within the first two days, so based on need, this is an incredible get for this franchise at No. 20 overall.

21. player. 47. . Linebacker. New England Patriots. Devin Lloyd

The New England Patriots made it back to the playoffs last season and based on their roster, they have the talent to get back there in 2022. There are some issues, however, when it comes to their roster, and the defense suffered some big losses in free agency already this year.

At pick No. 21 overall, Bill Belichick gets the best linebacker in this draft class, selecting Utah star Devin Lloyd. With Belichick, Lloyd is going to flourish, as the Patriots look to keep pace with the Buffalo Bills in the AFC East.

player. 49. . Edge. Green Bay Packers. George Karlaftis. 22

The Green Bay Packers have had a roller coaster of an offseason, as they reached the highest of highs by bringing back Aaron Rodgers, but have struggled since. They have seen two of Rodgers’s favorite weapons leave, and that will have to be addressed in free agency and the draft.

We will address that need in the draft later on, as they hold the No. 28 pick too, but with this pick, No. 22 overall due to trading away Davante Adams, they bolster the defensive line. The pick in our latest mock here at No. 22 is George Karlaftis, who fills a big void after losing Za’Darius Smith to free agency.
