The Saint Peter’s Peacocks are in the Elite Eight after taking care of the Purdue Boilermakers and Skip Bayless somehow has a very reasonable reaction.

With another monumental and seemingly unlikely win in the NCAA Tournament, the Saint Peter’s Peacocks are moving on once more. March Madness will continue for the Peacocks as Saint Peter’s eliminated the Purdue Boilermaker from the 2022 NCAA Tournament.

The win, like a couple of other notable Saint Peter’s victories, shocked many and drew a wide variety of reactions. From hot takes to outright celebrations, the Peacocks’ win inspired a long list of people to share their thoughts on the improbable win.

Including Skip Bayless.

While Bayless is generally known for his loud demeanor and often absurd sports opinions, there are some moments where he has a reasonable and fair reaction to something. Like when the Peacocks managed to come out on top of a close game against the Boilermakers. Saint Peter’s seemed poised despite a general lack of experience in big games like this.

Bayless was among those noticed.

The Peacocks didn’t seem to get wrapped up in the moment and they didn’t get thrown off by the stage they were facing the Boilermakers on. Saint Peter’s just seemed to play as they’ve played a couple of other games so far this NCAA Tournament.

Now, because they were able to continue playing basketball the way they are used to, the Peacocks are advancing on to the Elite Eight. Their magical run is continuing. Let’s see how far they go.
