Some tremendous news has arrived for the Los Angeles Clippers, as sharpshooter Paul George is getting ready to return to the hardwood.

When will Paul George get back on the floor for the Los Angeles Clippers? Fans have been patiently waiting for the superstar to return to action, as he’s been out of the lineup since December due to an elbow injury.

In recent weeks, George has stepped up his recovery and even gotten in some 5-on-5 sessions. According to Clippers insider Farbod Esnaashari, things have gone so well for George of late, he could suit up for LA later this week.

A Paul George return for the Clippers would be massive

As things stand, the Clippers sit in eighth place of the Western Conference standings with their 36-39 record. However, the Pelicans and Lakers are four games and 4.5 games back, respectively. Both teams would love to steal that No. 8 seed from the Clippers.

A George return couldn’t be coming at a better time for this team either, as they’re in the middle of a five-game losing streak. Things just haven’t been right offensively, but George could help fix things from the moment he puts on his sneakers. People are still waiting on Kawhi Leonard (ACL) to get back too, but he’s still a little ways out.

With George out, point guard Reggie Jackson has stepped this game up, as he’s averaging 16.9 points per game this year. However, things are completely different when George isn’t out there drilling shots from all over the hardwood.

Head coach Ty Lue knows how big of a difference George makes for his squad, why he himself can’t wait for George to be cleared. The good news for Clippers fans is that everyone should see him making plays for LA later this week. His health will be crucial the rest of the way if the Clippers want to lock in a playoff spot.
