The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are moving on from Bruce Arians after the head coach decided to retire. Here’s how fans are reacting.
There’s an absolute whirlwind of retirements happening with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers these days. Sometimes star quarterbacks retire. Sometimes they unretire. Now it looks like Tampa Bay head coach Bruce Arians has decided to call it a career as he moves into
The move is monumental for the Buccaneers. Arians, who helped Tampa Bay get a Super Bowl win, is moving off the sidelines and into a role in the Buccaneers’ front office. That will help create some continuity for this franchise.
Adding to that sense of continuity is the fact that Todd Bowles will become the Buccaneers’ head coach.

The 69-year-old Arians has been a coach at a multitude of different institutions. While it makes sense that he would move into a different role given his age and how long he’s been doing this, the move is still stunning for many. Tampa Bay is in position to keep on winning. The Buccaneers have a good roster and a quarterback who will certainly be in the Hall-of-Fame. Folks don’t tend to retire while they’re on top.

The greatest head coach in Buccaneers history has retired. ... Joe's favorite photo, snapped by the JoeBucsFan photographer in the tunnel after the Bucs beat the Packers in Green Bay.

But that’s what Arians is doing. He’s calling it a career and moving on to something new. Now we wait and see how it all unfolds for the Buccaneers.

We all knew Bowles was going to be the successor... this was all about Arians wanting Bowles to have the HC job in Tampa before the possibility of losing him during the season/offseason next year. Has nothing to do with Brady... Respect to BA tbh
