WWE fans ready to crown Logan Paul a superstar after WrestleMania 38 match

WWE fans were ready to see more of Logan Pual in the ring after an impressive debut at WrestleMania 38.

WrestleMania 38 was not short on star power. The first celebrity match to take place on Saturday, Apr. 2 featured social media star Logan Paul teaming up with The Miz to take on Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio. This was the first time that Paul would compete in a match in WWE.

Paul impressed during his in-ring debut, as he and Miz defeated the Mysterio’s to earn his first ever professional wrestling victory. Fans and viewers of WrestleMania took to Twitter to share their thoughts on Paul’s showing on the “Grandest Stage of Them All.”

Paul showed off his athleticism during the match, such as a leapfrog over Rey Mysterio and a leaping running powerslam to Dominik Mysterio. But what he did do was play a heel very well.

In the latter portion of the match, Paul hit the Three Amigos suplex on Mysterio, who used the move as a tribute to the late Eddie Guerrero. Then, Paul went to the top rope and hit Guerrero’s finishing move, the Frog Splash.

Paul was hit with a double 619 by the Mysterio’s and by two top rope splashes. But, Miz body slammed Dominik onto Rey, and hit the Skull Crushing Finale to get the win. But when their hands were raised, Miz turned on the social media star, hitting him with the Skull Crushing Finale.

No matter how it ended, Paul can say he is undefeated. Certainly a better moment than the year prior, when he was hit with the Stunner by Kevin Owens.
