29. player. 124. . Wide Receiver. Kansas City Chiefs. Treylon Burks

The Kansas City Chiefs pulled off one of the more shocking trades of the offseason so far, parting ways with Pro Bowl wide receiver Tyreek Hill.  A favorite of Patrick Mahomes, Hill was traded away to the Miami Dolphins, and in return, the Chiefs got their first-round pick in 2022 among other assets.

With pick No. 29, the Chiefs look to add more talent to the wide receiver room, adding Treylon Burks from Arkansas. Sure, the Chiefs have already added JuJu Smith-Schuster and Marquez Valdes-Scantling, but Burks could be too good to pass up here.

124. . Cornerback. Kansas City Chiefs. Trent McDuffie. 30. player

The Kansas City Chiefs will hold back-to-back first-round picks in the 2022 NFL Draft, and after going offense at No. 29 overall, they go defense here at No. 30. The pick here is Trent McDuffie, an elite cornerback prospect from Washington, and one that fills a major need in Kansas City.

The AFC West has turned on its head this offseason, as plenty of stars joined the division, and some were shown the door. It will be interesting to see if the Chiefs can hold the title going into next season, but as long as they have Patrick Mahomes at quarterback, they have a great chance to do so.
