The Masters Round 2 leaderboard: Tiger Woods makes cut as Scottie Scheffler leads
The Masters Round 2 leaderboard features Tiger Woods still in the hunt but Scottie Scheffler holds a commanding lead at the top.
Tiger Woods continued his impressive comeback from the car crash that threatened to end his career just over a year ago by making the cut on Friday at The Masters.
Woods finished the day tied for 19th at one-over par, overcoming some early trouble to secure his spot on Saturday. He has now made the cut at 22 consecutive Masters tournament appearances.
While Woods has a chance to make waves over the weekend, Scottie Scheffler put on a show to prove his No. 1 status is well deserved.
After a strong first round, Scheffler took control by shooting five under in Round 2.
His lead at eight-under par, five better than any other competitor, is tied for the largest in Masters history over 36 holes, per ESPN Stats & Info.
