UNC basketball incoming recruiting Class

UNC has one of the highest-rated recruiting classes for 2022 and there are some potential first-year players that can land themselves on the starting lineup for the season. Coach Davis has added three four-star recruits to the 2022-23 roster and could see the court sooner than later.

Seth Trimble, Point Guard

Trimble could very well land on the starting lineup for the 2022-23 season depending on who leaves and what the final roster looks like. If Love is to leave, this leaves R.J Davis the primary ball-handler and would allow Trimble to contribute to guard rotation.

Jalen Washington, Center

Washington is going to be a key player for the Tar Heels and be a playmaker in the post. Though Washington suffered an injury in his 2021-22 high school season, if healed in its entirety, he could see himself replacing Bacot if he is to leave for the draft.

Tyler Nickel, Forward

Nickel is coming off of a record-breaking season with his high school team and could be a star player for the Tar Heels.

It is uncertain what the 2022-23 starting lineup is going to be, or what will happen in the coming months. Coach Davis has a lot of talent and potential to pick apart before finalizing the roster and starting lineup.
