NBA Playoffs: How to watch Raptors vs. 76ers, Game 1
By Scott Rogust
The NBA playoffs begin on Saturday, Apr. 16, and so does the first-round series between the Toronto Raptors and Philadelphia 76ers.
The first-round of the NBA Playoffs will take place on Saturday, Apr. 16. The very first game of the Eastern Conference portion of the playoff bracket will tipoff at 6:00 p.m. ET , with the Philadelphia 76ers hosting the Toronto Raptors.
These two teams last met in the playoffs in 2019. Of course, that was the second-round series that ended on a game-winning three-pointer by Kawhi Leonard to help the Raptors advance to the Eastern Conference Finals. Toronto went on to win the NBA championship that year.
The 76ers, much like in years past, will look to win the NBA championship for the first time since 1983. Their odds are certainly helped with Joel Embiid on the court, as he is the favorite to win the NBA MVP award this year. Embiid averaged a 30.6 points (league-high), 11.7 rebounds and 4.2 assists through 68 games.
Here is how you can watch Game 1 of Raptors-76ers.
