Georgia football fans will gather at Sanford Stadium for the first time since their national championship parade in early January; only this time, they are going to watch the Dawgs play.

Kirby Smart’s Georgia football team will tee it up once again Between the Hedges, this time for their annual spring game, better known colloquially as G-Day.

Georgia is coming off its greatest season arguably ever. The Dawgs just won their first national championship since 1980. While repeating is going to be so incredibly difficult, the Dawgs are favored to win the SEC East once again and make it into the College Football Playoff, no matter how the presumptive SEC Championship date vs. the rival Alabama Crimson Tide goes in Atlanta.

Overall, Saturday will be a day to celebrate all that is great about Georgia football. This will be the first time fans will be able to watch their beloved team in-person since winning it all over Alabama in Indianapolis back in January. Even if they got the proverbial monkey off their back, Georgia fans are hoping that last season’s success means the floodgates are officially open for Smart’s team.

Here is what Dawg Nation needs to know to watch the annual Georgia spring game on Saturday.
