The top-seeded Miami Heat are ready to make a run for the NBA Finals and the journey begins with a first-round showdown against Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks.

After an impressive showing in the regular season, all eyes are on the Miami Heat to see if this team can live up to their No. 1 billing. The Heat, of course led by standout playmaker Jimmy Butler, earned the top seed in the Eastern Conference after posting an impressive 53-29 record.

Now, they’re all set to take on the No. 8 Atlanta Hawks in Game 1 on Sunday afternoon. As soon as Miami hits the floor, the Heat starting lineup will consist of Butler, Kyle Lowry, Max Strus, P.J. Tucker and Bam Adebayo

. Meanwhile for Atlanta, the Hawks will go with Trae Young, Kevin Huerter, De’Andre Hunter, Danilo Gallanari and Clint Capela to start.

Miami Heat injuries have tested the team’s depth of late: Heat injury report

There’s been some good news for Miami out on the injury front, as Tucker was dealing with a calf issue leading up to tipoff, but he’s good to go for this one. Not only that, the team announced that Gabe Vincent (toe), Markieff Morris (hip), Dewayne Dedmon (ankle) and Haywood Highsmith (hip) would be available for the contest as well.

The FTX Arena in Miami will be bumping from start to finish in this one, as the Miami fans are ready to see what this squad can do in the postseason. Butler knows there’s loads of pressure on him as well, with plenty of his haters waiting to see if he can step up or not this spring.

On the year, Butler is averaging 21.4 points, 5.9 rebounds and 5.4 assists per night. If the Heat want to make this a memorable trip to the playoffs, they’ll need Butler to play like his usual self.
