Patrick Mahomes is already talking smack to old guys like Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers ahead of The Match.

With The Match only a few weeks away, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is already talking trash to Team Old.

Mahomes and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen will represent Team Millennial as they take on Team Gen-X featuring Tom Brady of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers. In a clash of dial-up internet vs. selfies, this party in Las Vegas is going to be off the hook! This will be the greatest foursome to hit Sin City since Doug celebrated his bachelor party.

Look for massive age discrepancy to be all the rage when these quarterbacks tee it up on June 1.

Patrick Mahomes is putting the old guys in place ahead of The Match on June 1

While Brady and Rodgers will drag Allen for never getting to a Super Bowl before, Mahomes and his fellow AFC signal-caller have to go for broke with the age jokes. “Hey, you dropped your AARP card!” will cut through their souls more harshly than the late January winds of Foxborough and Green Bay ever did. Expect for Dr. Rick and his team of Progressives to sponsor every last hole.

The amount of shenanigans we will see on the golf course will only rival that of the time Brady told Peyton Manning the Vols haven’t been good since he left. Brady might be a Michigan man, but look for Mahomes to be this group’s Shooter McGavin as he goes Guns Up! after draining a birdie the heir apparent to Alex Trebek (RIP) wishes he could. State Farm will absolutely love all of that.

As all of us got back in the golf-watching spirit with The Masters Tournament a few weeks back, now is the time to get ready to get ready for all that is about to happen in Vegas, baby! This has the chance to be a better draw for Turner than when we had nothing to watch two years ago at the start of the pandemic. Two years later, we will have GOATs vs. young bucks out on the links.

Mark your calendars, people, as The Match will air on TNT beginning on June 1 at 6:30 p.m. ET.

Next. The Match is back — Brady, Rodgers, Allen, Mahomes all in it. dark
