Heavyweight boxers Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte are set to battle it out for both the WBC and Ring Magazine heavyweight title on Saturday, April 23. 

For the first time in his career, heavyweight boxer Dillian Whyte now has a chance to unseat  “The Gypsy King” of boxing, WBC heavyweight champ Tyson Fury.

Fury vs. Whyte has the whole boxing world talking, with everyone from George Foreman to Bob Arum sharing their perspective on who will take home gold on Saturday. Fury, who is widely considered to be the world’s best heavyweight boxer and the lineal champion of his weight class, is an easy favorite, although Foreman notes that retirement rumors could throw Fury off his game in the ring and give Whyte the belt after all.

Whether Fury keeps his lineal dominance going or Whyte unexpectedly unseats the world champion, the biggest boxing match of 2022 is a must-watch for any fan of the sport.

To see Tyson Fury take on Dillian Whyte, boxing fans will have to shell out $69.99 to watch it exclusively on ESPN+ pay-per-view. However, the match is also expected to be featured on Reddit live stream.

Fury’s recent victory over the formidable Deontay Wilder underscores the odds for Fury vs. Whyte, in which Fury is expected to win by a significant margin.

According to WynnBet, Tyson Fury has -600 odds, while Dillian Whyte has +425 odds.

As BetSided’s Iain MacMillan noted earlier this week, one major factor contributing to Fury’s expected dominance is his reach.

“Whyte has a reach of 78 inches, compared to Fury at 85. It’s going to be hard for him to be able to get inside on Fury and utilize the power he’s shown he has in past fights. Fury has proven that he not only has power in his hands, but he’s an undeniably good technical fighter and can outbox his opponents instead of getting in a brawl with them.”

The card, which includes Tyson’s half-brother Tommy Fury, begins its matches at 2 p.m. ET.  Although Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte sit atop the fight card, their match isn’t expected to begin until 5 p.m. ET.

The fight between the two headlining British boxers will take place on Saturday, April 23 at Wembley Stadium in London, England.
