The Dallas Cowboys have nine picks in the 2022 NFL Draft. Let’s take a look where they select.

After getting booted early from the playoffs yet again, this probably hasn’t been the offseason that the Dallas Cowboys imagined. Jerry Jones and the front office for America’s Team traded wide receiver Amari Cooper to Cleveland, lost both La’el Collins and Connor Williams and free agency, and now have several holes that need to be filled in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Luckily, Dallas finds itself in an overall favorable position for the draft. The Cowboys pick at No. 24 in the first round, a spot where many anticipate the team looking to fill the voids along the offensive line. They also have their own picks in every round except for the seventh and have an arsenal of four selections in the fifth round that they could potentially package to move up at any point.

All told, though, this is a crucial draft for the Cowboys given what they’ve lost this offseason and the expectations for Mike McCarthy’s team in the 2022 season. They have to get the offensive line addressed, must find more bodies at wide receiver to pair with CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup, and can always use reinforcements on defense.

So let’s get into where Dallas will be picking and what they do with those selections in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Dallas Cowboys 2022 NFL Draft picks

Here’s a look at the draft picks that the Cowboys have at their disposal.

  • Round 1, Pick No. 24
  • Round 2, Pick No. 56
  • Round 3, Pick No. 88
  • Round 4, Pick No. 129
  • Round 5, Pick No. 155
  • Round 5, Pick No. 167
  • Round 5, Pick No. 176
  • Round 5, Pick No. 178
  • Round 6, Pick No. 193

There have been rumors circulating that the Cowboys are looking to trade up in the first round, potentially getting much closer to or into the Top 10. If that were the case, that would be a big shaker in the draft, especially with how much Dallas moves the needle no matter what they do.
