NBA refs Scott Foster and Ed Malloy had no idea who Jack Harlow was when he ended up on the big screen during the Bucks vs. Celtics game.

All sorts of celebrities turn up at NBA games. Even people with the best pop culture knowledge might not know them all.

Still, a gap in that knowledge produced one of the funnier moments of the playoffs.

While the Bucks were taking on the Celtics, NBA refs Scott Foster and Ed Malloy were caught on camera having a conversation about Jack Harlow.

“Who is Jack Harlow,” the two refs asked each other while waiting for a stoppage.

For those who are just as clueless as Foster and Malloy, Harlow is a rapper responsible for hits like “First Class,” “Whats Poppin” and “Industry Baby” with Lil Nas X. He’s due to appear in the reboot of White Men Can’t Jump.

The refs not knowing who Harlow is isn’t the worst sin in the world. In fact, they can be forgiven for that much easier than some of the questionable calls that happen during every NBA game. At least they weren’t responsible for ejecting Draymond Green like the crew in the other game on Sunday night.
