player. 55. . CB. Pittsburgh Steelers. Eli Ricks. 11

The Pittsburgh Steelers turned the page at quarterback this offseason, bringing in Mitchell Trubisky to take over for Ben Roethlisberger. Then, they selected a quarterback in the first round on Thursday night, bringing in Kenny Pickett from Pitt, so let the games begin in terms of competition.

Looking at the Super Bowl rankings, it does not seem like the Steelers will do much of anything next season, landing here at No. 11 overall. With this pick, they bolster the secondary, bringing in Eli Ricks from Alabama, but that is pending whatever happens with his recent legal troubles.

12. player. 54. . WR. Philadelphia Eagles. Jordan Addison

The Philadelphia Eagles hold back-to-back picks in this mock draft, as they still have some compensation from the New Orleans Saints. With this pick, they go offense, adding Jordan Addison, a wide receiver who is currently in the transfer portal after starting at Pitt last season.

Addison would give Jalen Hurts and this offense another solid weapon in the passing game, as they look to continue the young signal-callers development. Addison is going to make some school very happy in the coming weeks, and next year will do the same for an NFL franchise.

13. player. 54. . CB. Philadelphia Eagles. Joey Porter Jr.

The Philadelphia Eagles went defense with two of their top three picks in the 2022 NFL Draft, including Georgia defensive tackle Jordan Davis. Davis blew people away at the NFL Combine, and at the next level, is going to be someone who gets acclimated to the pro game in a hurry.

Looking at the roster, there is still a need at the cornerback position, a need they fill here with Joey Porter Jr. from Penn State. He should have no shortage of fans after playing for the Nittany Lions, and the Eagles could use his playmaking ability in the defensive backfield.

WR. Minnesota Vikings. Kayshon Boutte. 14. player. 60.

The Minnesota Vikings used five of their first six selections in 2022 on the defense, including going with two defensive backs with their first two picks. However, one area I felt they should have addressed in 2022 was wide receiver, and they get it done here with Kayshon Boutte from LSU.

Boutte played alongside current Vikings star wideout Justin Jefferson in college and would be an excellent fit for this Minnesota offense. The wide receiver group may not be as deep as it was this year, but the elite talent is at the top, and Boutte is one of them.
